Miss Tour Alsace

For the first time, the Tour Alsace elected her Miss in 2008 in front of hundreds of spectators. Then Virginie Schmitt was succeeded the following year by Mathilde Buecher.

On June 25, 2008, the largest room of the complex "Kinepolis Mulhouse" was full for the election of the first Miss Tour Alsace. Twelve candidates shortlisted by the former Miss France Claudia Frittolini, marched in gorgeous outfits and surrounded by an impressive decor. Virginie Schmitt, a blond girl who works as beautician, won for one year the title of Miss Tour Alsace. The young woman raised her scarf and her smile at each visit of the Tour Alsace and during the six days of the race. 

Given the success of the operation and the public enthusiasm, the election was repeated the following year - May 26, 2009 - in the prestigious "Paradis des Sources" of Soultzmatt. This time, were not twelve, but fourteen pretty girls who came to claim the title. It's finally the pretty Mathilde Buecher, an 18 years old student, who became the successor of Virginie. 

And of course, the adventure continues in spring 2010.

"Petits Loups" also have Little Miss !

Thursday, July 9, 2009, the "Petits Loups" have also elected their Miss at the "Casino Barrière de Blotzheim": she is called Jade Muller, is 10 years old and lives in Kingersheim. The theater was transformed for the occasion in order to accommodate the 300 guests of the Tour Alsace. Candidates for election, aged 8 to 12 years, were ranked by board members, a difficult work because they all were adorable!
